Article I: Disclosure of Assets and Debts

Each Party has provided a fair and reasonable disclosure of their respective assets, liabilities, and business interests, as attached in Schedule A and Schedule B.

Article II: Treatment of Business Interests

  1. All current and future interests, earnings, and appreciation in the business(es) owned by either Party, individually or jointly, shall remain the separate property of the original owner.
  2. No interest in any business shall transfer to the other Party by virtue of the marriage.

Article III: Treatment of Income and Appreciation

  1. Any income derived from the business(es) or increase in value shall remain the separate property of the owning Party.
  2. Dividends, distributions, or other payments received shall not become marital property.

Article IV: Debts and Liabilities

  1. Debts or obligations arising from or related to any business interest shall remain the responsibility of the Party who incurred them.
  2. The non-owner Party shall have no liability for business-related debts.

Article V: Other Assets & Property

  1. Assets acquired during the marriage that are not business interests shall be governed by the laws of the State of ____________ or as mutually agreed.
