Small Business Net Metering Contract

This Net Metering Contract ("Agreement") is entered into on by and between:

The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the terms and conditions for net metering between the Utility Company and the Small Business regarding the use of renewable energy generation at the business location.

1. The business agrees to interconnect the renewable energy system in accordance with the Utility Company’s policies and applicable laws.
2. The Utility Company will measure the electricity delivered to and received from the business using a bidirectional meter.
3. Excess generated electricity will be credited in accordance with the utility’s net metering policies.
4. The business remains responsible for all applicable charges and fees as per the normal tariff structure.
5. Both parties will maintain the system and metering equipment in good working order.
6. This Agreement is subject to termination upon written notice by either party under conditions as specified below.

5. Term and Termination

This Agreement will remain in effect until terminated by either party with a written notice of days.

Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of terms, change in ownership, or system deactivation.

6. Liability and Indemnity

Both parties shall not hold the other liable for damages resulting from events beyond reasonable control. Each party shall indemnify the other against any claims arising from their own negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Miscellaneous

1. Any modifications or amendments to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
2. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements.
