Ecotourism Volunteer Code of Conduct Agreement

This agreement outlines the Code of Conduct expected from all ecotourism volunteers.
By signing this document, you commit to upholding the following principles and guidelines for the duration of your volunteer placement.

Code of Conduct

  1. Respect local cultures, customs, and traditions at all times.
  2. Comply with all instructions and safety guidelines provided by project coordinators, guides, or local staff.
  3. Minimize environmental impact by following Leave No Trace principles.
  4. Maintain professional conduct and treat all individuals with courtesy and dignity.
  5. Refrain from any illegal, abusive, or unethical behavior.
  6. Protect the welfare of wildlife and avoid all forms of disturbance.
  7. Avoid any unauthorized collection or removal of plants, animals, or cultural artifacts.
  8. Report any concerns or incidents immediately to the supervisor or the appropriate authority.
  9. Participate actively and responsibly in all assigned tasks.
  10. Abstain from use of substances that may impair your abilities while volunteering.

I have read, understood, and agree to comply with the Ecotourism Volunteer Code of Conduct as outlined above. I understand that violation may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the program.
