Art Gallery Artist Consignment Agreement

1. Parties

This Consignment Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of ("Effective Date") by and between:

2. Consignment of Artwork

The Artist consigns to the Gallery the artworks described in the attached inventory (the "Artworks") for display and potential sale by the Gallery.

3. Term

The term of this Agreement shall begin on and continue until , unless terminated earlier according to Section 10.

4. Sale Price & Commission

The retail sale price of each Artwork shall be as mutually agreed upon by the Artist and Gallery. The Gallery shall receive a commission of % of the sale price; the Artist shall receive the remaining %.

5. Payment

The Gallery shall pay the Artist the Artist's share of the proceeds within days of sale.

6. Insurance & Risk of Loss

The Gallery (will/will not) insure the Artworks while in Gallery's possession.

7. Responsibility for Loss or Damage

The Gallery is (is not) responsible for loss of or damage to the Artworks while under Gallery's care.

8. Return of Unsold Artwork

Unsold Artworks shall be returned to the Artist within days after termination of this Agreement.

9. Promotion & Display

The Gallery may photograph and reproduce images of the Artworks for promotional purposes.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon days written notice.

11. Miscellaneous

• This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties.
