I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree that my participation as a volunteer at the animal shelter is voluntary. I understand that working with animals involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, allergic reactions, and other injuries.
I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless the animal shelter, its officers, directors, staff, and other volunteers from any and all liability, claims, and causes of action arising out of or related to my volunteer activities at the animal shelter.
I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of engaging in volunteer activities and agree to comply with all rules and instructions provided by the shelter staff.
I have read and fully understand this waiver, and I sign it freely and voluntarily.
