Terms and Conditions

  1. Duties: The Pumpman is to perform all duties related to the cargo operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the vessel’s pumping systems and tanks as directed by the Chief Officer and Master.
  2. Duration: The employment is for the contract period stated above, with possible extension as mutually agreed.
  3. Remuneration: Wages to be paid monthly as stated above, including any overtime or other compensation according to company policy and maritime regulations.
  4. Rest Hours: Rest and working hours shall comply with international maritime standards and regulations.
  5. Travel: The Employer arranges and provides travel to and from the vessel, and required documents.
  6. Medical: The Employer provides medical care and insurance in accordance with applicable maritime laws.
  7. Disciplinary Measures: The Employee shall adhere to company policies and safety procedures. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action including termination.
  8. Termination: This agreement may be terminated by either party in accordance with the contract terms and maritime/flag state laws.
