Donor Data Confidentiality Agreement

This Confidentiality Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between

("Nonprofit Organization") and

("Recipient") on this date:

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Agreement is to protect the confidentiality and privacy of all donor data and related information to which the Recipient may have access.

2. Definition of Confidential Information

"Confidential Information" includes but is not limited to any personal, financial, or contact information of donors, donation amounts, records, and any other data related to donors of the Nonprofit Organization.

3. Obligations of Recipient

4. Exceptions

This Agreement does not apply to information that:

  1. Is or becomes publicly available through no fault of the Recipient.
  2. Is required to be disclosed by law or court order, provided the Recipient gives prompt written notice to the Nonprofit Organization.

5. Term

The obligations of confidentiality under this Agreement remain in effect during and after the Recipient’s association with the Nonprofit Organization.

6. Return of Materials

Upon termination of involvement, the Recipient shall return or destroy all copies of Confidential Information in any form.

7. Acknowledgment

By signing below, the Recipient acknowledges and agrees to comply with all terms of this Confidentiality Agreement.
