STEM Lab Assistant Confidentiality Agreement for Students

This Confidentiality Agreement ("Agreement") is made between the STEM Lab and the undersigned Student Lab Assistant ("Student"). The purpose of this Agreement is to protect the privacy and security of sensitive information, data, projects, and research related to the STEM Lab.

1. Confidential Information

The Student acknowledges that during their time as a Lab Assistant, they may have access to confidential information, which may include but is not limited to:

• Research data and results
• Lab procedures and protocols
• Project details and experiments
• Personal information about lab members
• Proprietary software, hardware, and designs

2. Student Obligations

• Keep all confidential information secret and secure.
• Do not copy, share, or disclose confidential information to anyone outside of authorized personnel.
• Use confidential information only for tasks related to lab duties.
• Notify the Lab Supervisor immediately if information is lost or if a breach is suspected.

3. Duration of Agreement

This Agreement remains binding both during and after the Student's involvement with the STEM Lab.

4. Acknowledgment

The Student acknowledges that violating this Agreement may result in disciplinary action, including removal from lab duties and possible further consequences as determined by the STEM Lab and institution.

5. Return of Materials

Upon ending their role as Lab Assistant, the Student agrees to return all lab materials, documents, and files to the STEM Lab.
