I understand and agree that as a volunteer for _______________________ (the "Organization"), I will participate in activities involving the care, handling, and transportation of animals. I acknowledge that working with animals carries inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, and exposure to zoonotic diseases. I hereby release and hold harmless the Organization, its officers, directors, employees, and other volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or expenses that may arise from my participation as a volunteer, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Organization to seek medical treatment on my behalf and I accept financial responsibility for any resulting expenses.
I grant permission for photographs or videos taken of me during volunteer activities to be used for promotional purposes by the Organization.
