Literary Agent Representation Contract

2. Grant of Rights

The Author hereby appoints the Agent as their exclusive representative to act on their behalf with respect to the Work(s) as described below:

The Agent shall have the right to submit, negotiate, and contract for the sale or license of the Work(s) with publishers and other third parties.

3. Term

This Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue for a period of unless earlier terminated as provided herein.

4. Commission

The Agent shall be entitled to receive a commission of percent (%) of all gross monies received by the Author from the sale, license, or other disposition of the Work(s) negotiated by the Agent.

5. Agent's Duties

• To use reasonable efforts to promote the Work(s) to potential publishers and other buyers.
• To keep the Author informed of material developments.
• To account for all monies received, and to remit the Author’s share promptly.

6. Author's Duties

• To provide the Agent with necessary manuscripts and materials.
• To cooperate with the Agent in good faith.

7. Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by either party upon written notice of days. Commissions on agreements concluded prior to termination shall survive in accordance with this Agreement.

8. Miscellaneous

• This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties.
• No amendment is valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
