• Window screens in good repair
• No hazardous items within reach

Kitchen & Bathroom

• Cleaning supplies stored securely
• Proper storage of knives and sharp objects
• Safe water temperature (<120°F)
• Functioning plumbing and fixtures

Outdoor & General Areas

• Fenced yard, if required
• Yard free of hazardous debris/equipment
• Pools/hot tubs fenced or covered
• Pets are safe and vaccinations up to date

Medications & Chemical Safety

• Medications stored securely
• Hazardous chemicals locked away
• Alcohol and tobacco stored out of reach
