USB Device Security Policy Agreement

Purpose:

Policy

  1. Only authorized USB devices may be connected to company computers or networks.
  2. Personal USB devices are not permitted unless expressly approved by the IT department.
  3. External USB storage devices must be scanned for malware before use.
  4. Sensitive company data may not be stored on any USB device without prior authorization.
  5. Report loss or theft of USB devices containing company data immediately to IT security.
  6. Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
