Perimeter Security
Fencing is intact and surrounds the property
Gates are secure and properly monitored
Signs indicating restricted access are visible
Perimeter lighting is functional
Landscaping does not obscure views of entry points
Building Access Control
Restricted entry points are controlled (locks, card entry, etc.)
Visitor log and ID verification in place
Security staff present at main access points
Delivery access controlled and monitored
Emergency exits are secure but accessible if needed
Surveillance Systems
Security cameras cover all critical areas
Cameras are operational and regularly maintained
Monitoring location is secure and access is limited
Footage is stored and reviewed as needed
Physical Barriers and Locks
All doors and windows have secure locks
Sensitive areas have additional barriers (e.g., safes, cages)
Master keys are controlled and tracked
Locks are regularly checked and maintained
Alarm and Response
Alarm systems are installed and tested
Alarms are monitored by internal/external personnel
Response procedures are documented and available
Staff are trained on emergency protocols
