This Code of Conduct outlines expectations for all disabled athletes participating in activities, events, or programs. Adherence to this code ensures a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
1. Respect and Inclusion
- Treat all participants, staff, coaches, and spectators with respect at all times.
- Promote an environment of inclusion and support for all abilities.
- Refrain from discriminatory, harassing, or offensive behavior or language.
2. Safety and Well-being
- Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by coaches or organizers.
- Report any unsafe conditions or concerns immediately.
- Respect personal boundaries and the needs of others.
3. Sportsmanship
- Demonstrate fair play and integrity, both on and off the field.
- Accept decisions made by officials without complaint.
- Support teammates and encourage positive participation.
4. Responsibility
- Arrive to events and activities on time as required.
- Take care of personal equipment and respect shared facilities.
- Avoid the use of prohibited substances or behaviors detrimental to participation.
5. Communication
- Communicate openly and honestly with coaches, peers, and staff.
