This Independent Contractor Waiver (“Waiver”) is entered into between the undersigned delivery driver (“Contractor”) and the Company. By signing below, Contractor acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
Contractor acknowledges that they are engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee, agent, or representative of the Company. Contractor is responsible for all taxes, insurance, and licenses applicable to their services.
Contractor hereby waives, releases, and discharges the Company from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising out of or in connection with Contractor's performance of delivery services, except as expressly required by law.
Contractor understands and accepts all risks associated with performing delivery services, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, property damage, or losses.
Contractor confirms that they carry any and all insurance required by law for the operation of their vehicle and the performance of delivery services.
Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, losses, or damages arising from or related to Contractor’s actions or omissions in connection with delivery services.
Contractor understands that they are not entitled to workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, health benefits, or any other benefits provided to employees.
This Waiver is the complete agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
