Responsible Social Media Use Contract for School
This contract is intended to promote responsible, respectful, and safe use of social media by students at
School.
Student Agreement
I, , agree to:
- Use social media in a way that is respectful to myself, my peers, and the school community.
- Respect the privacy and boundaries of others.
- Never post, share, or comment anything that is hurtful, bullying, or inappropriate.
- Protect my personal information and never share my passwords.
- Report any misuse or incidents of cyberbullying to a trusted adult or school staff.
- Use social media during school hours only as permitted by school policy.
- Comply with all school rules and applicable laws when using social media.
Parent/Guardian Agreement
I, , parent/guardian of the above student, will support and encourage responsible social media use at home and at school.
- Discuss and reinforce respectful behavior on social media.
- Monitor and guide my child's social media activities as appropriate.
- Help my child understand the consequences of unsafe or disrespectful online behavior.
Consequences
I understand that failure to follow these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, loss of social media privileges at school, or other consequences as outlined in the school policies.
