Triathlon Open Water Swimming Waiver

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge and agree to the following statements regarding my participation in the Triathlon Open Water Swimming event:

  1. I understand that participating in open water swimming involves inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, hypothermia, and injury from natural or man-made objects.
  2. I certify I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for participation in this event. I do not have any medical condition that would affect my ability to safely engage in open water swimming.
  3. I agree to comply with all event rules, regulations, and instructions given to me by event officials and safety personnel.
  4. I assume all risks associated with participation in this event, including those caused by weather, water conditions, wildlife, or equipment.
  5. I hereby release and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, officials, and any associated parties from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage to myself or my property arising from my participation in this event.
