Stop and disconnect all production equipment
Drain and remove all product residues
Rinse all contact surfaces with potable water
Apply approved cleaning agent/detergent
Scrub and clean conveyors, fillers, cappers and related components
Rinse thoroughly to remove cleaning agents
Sanitize all food-contact surfaces per SOP
Remove and safely store reusable tools/utensils
Inspect for visible cleanliness
Record sanitizer concentration (if applicable)
Conduct pre-operational inspection
