No-Smoking Rental Agreement Addendum
1. Purpose of Addendum
This No-Smoking Addendum is attached to and made part of the rental agreement for the premises referenced above.
2. Definition of Smoking
For the purposes of this Addendum, “smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe, or other smoking device.
3. No-Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the rental unit, adjacent common areas, or on the premises, including balconies, patios, and yards.
4. Tenant Responsibility
Tenant agrees to inform their guests and all occupants of this policy and is responsible for any violations.
5. Violation
A violation of this Addendum is a material violation of the rental agreement and may result in termination of tenancy and/or financial penalties.
