Data Encryption Key Usage Agreement

1. Purpose

This agreement defines the terms and conditions under which the Data Encryption Key is issued, used, protected, and revoked.

2. Scope

This agreement applies to any individual or entity provided with access to the Data Encryption Key by the organization for authorized business purposes only.

3. Responsibilities

• To implement all necessary measures to protect the Data Encryption Key from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
• Not to share, disclose, or otherwise transmit the Data Encryption Key to any unauthorized parties.
• To use the Data Encryption Key only for its intended and approved purposes as specified by the organization.
• To report any suspected or actual compromise, loss, or misuse of the Data Encryption Key immediately to the relevant authority.

4. Compliance

• To comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and legal requirements regarding data protection and encryption.

5. Revocation

• The organization may revoke access to the Data Encryption Key at its discretion, including upon termination of employment or contract, policy violation, or suspected compromise.

6. Acknowledgement

By signing below, the Key Holder acknowledges understanding and acceptance of the responsibilities associated with the use of the Data Encryption Key and agrees to abide by the terms of this Agreement.
