This Confidentiality Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between (“Nonprofit Organization”) and the undersigned volunteer (“Volunteer”).
During the course of volunteering, Volunteer may have access to confidential and proprietary information relating to the organization, its donors, clients, staff, or operations. Volunteer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of such information, both during and after the period of volunteering, and will not disclose such information to any third party without the written consent of the organization.
1. Volunteer agrees not to disclose, discuss, or reproduce confidential information, except as required during volunteering activities and authorized by the nonprofit.
2. Volunteer understands that breach of confidentiality may result in termination of volunteer position and/or other actions.
3. This Agreement remains in effect both during and after the volunteer’s period of service.
By signing, Volunteer acknowledges and agrees to abide by the terms of this Confidentiality Agreement.
